Me and my lady were out and about to Target (mask’s on because safety first), one weekend grabbing somethings for dinner and my apartment. I always stop by the books and magazine section to see if there are any new cookbooks or just books in general I want to give a spin.
This week I cam across Joanna Gaines’s “Magnolia Table, A collection of recipes for gathering volume 2” cookbook. If you watch HGTV like I do you will remember the name from the show “Fixer Upper” with her husband Chip Gaines. I decided to give it a shot. Any way i can grow my experience and knowledge in the kitchen is always a win too me.
So I attempted Joanna Gaines’s Sunday Pot Roast Dinner. The recipe is pretty straight forwrd for a Pot Roast. 5 pound chuck roast, 5 large russet potatoes (recipes called for 4), carrots, onions, garlic, beef broth, thyme etc. I added my personal go to seasoning like paprika, ground mustard, and my go to McCormick’s Garlic & Herb, Black PEpper and Sea Salt Seasoning.
Its a Good book with some good recipes to try, I definitely recommend it. But in the meantime enjoy the pictures from my attempt at Joanna Gaines Sunday Pot Roast`
