With the good weather on the way, (except in the Pocono’s because it supposed to snow Thursday smh), the first thing that springs to mind (get it?) is the beginning of brunch season!

Seems like so long ago when we was outside living our best brunch life…

Now is brunch season a real thing you ask? No idea, but with Spring here and those 40-degree days turning to 60-degree day’s (real one’s know the referencee), its only right we start looking forward to brunching with our loved ones.

So, to kick off the unofficial official start of Brunch Season I bring to you 6 Mimosa’s to try this spring and summer. 

The Classic.

The Classic Mimosa : Champagne, Orange Juice and Triple Sec. You can also nix the triple sec.

Pineapple Mimosa: Whenever my coworkers and I go to breakfast after work, this is my go-to! The simple way to go is Champagne and pineapple juice or trade the pineapple juice for pineapple vodka, 1/2-ounce lemon juice, ½ ounce orange and ½ ounce honey syrup.

Bellini (not my picture but trust I’ll be making my own this season)

Bellini: Another classic brunch drink. Two ingredients Peach puree and champagne. (for the peach puree, add 4 peaches, pitted, lemon juice, sugar, and ice cubes. Blend to smooth and there you go.

Grand Mimosa: Add an ounce (or more lol) of Grand Marnier to your glass, fill about 2/3’s the way with champagne then top with the orange juice. A little orange peel for garnish if you feeling fancy.

Champagne and Chambord: Half a shot of Chambord Liqueur with your favorite Champagne. Had this a few times, but the last time I add some crown apple and lemon juice.

Mimosa Mojito

Mimosa Mojito: Another one on the list that I haven’t made myself or tried yet. But it sounded really dope. The recipe can be found here RECIPE. The Mimosa Mojito | Bright-Eyed Baker

French 75: This one is my favorite right behind the pineapple mimosa. This is a mimosa with a kick! All you need 1 & ½ ounces of your favorite cognac , ½ ounce simple syrup, a little over a ½ an ounce of lemon juice. Top with champagne and garnish with a lemon twist.
